Nestled on the shores of Lake Como, Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni is an icon of elegance and history. For Bonnie and Shezad, a young couple from the U.S., it was the perfect location for their destination wedding – an intimate yet stylish event captured in a pure documentary style.
A Welcome Celebration on board
The wedding experience began the day before the ceremony with a private boat tour on Lake Como. Guests enjoyed an elegant aperitivo while cruising past the lake’s famous villas, followed by an impromptu dance under the open sky. A perfect way to set the tone for the celebration ahead.
A Civil Ceremony with a View
The wedding day unfolded in the stunning setting of Villa Serbelloni, with its panoramic views of the lake. Bonnie and Shezad, effortlessly stylish in their white attire, exchanged vows in a civil ceremony overlooking the water. The intimate atmosphere, combined with the villa’s refined charm, made for an unforgettable moment.
An Aperitivo in the Gardens
Following the ceremony, guests moved to the villa’s lakefront gardens for an elegant aperitivo. The golden light of the afternoon reflected off the lake, adding warmth to the sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere.
A Grand Banquet in the Royal Hall
As evening fell, the celebration moved indoors to the Salone Reale, Villa Serbelloni’s most prestigious hall. The grandeur of the space set the perfect backdrop for an exquisite dinner, where fine cuisine and heartfelt toasts created a memorable night.
