I’m Giacomo, a wedding and documentary photographer with a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florence, a background that deeply shapes the way I observe people, dynamics, and moments.
My work has been exhibited at international photography festivals, including Miami, San Francisco, London, Milan, Arles, and Brussels. I approach each wedding with empathy, clarity, and full presence, following the day as it unfolds without forcing it into something it’s not.
The result is a visual narrative that feels coherent, personal, and deeply connected to what actually happened.

WHAT/HOW


Documentary and street photography shape the way I see and photograph the world. They have trained me to wait, stay receptive, and recognise the moments that matter as they naturally unfold. My approach is built around preserving the natural rhythm of your day, allowing moments and emotions to emerge without pressure or performance.

When guidance becomes helpful, such as during your couple portraits, I step in with a calm and considered presence, offering subtle direction that brings an editorial refinement while keeping everything effortless and natural. The intention is always the same: to create images that feel honest and alive, elevated by a careful sensitivity to light, composition, and emotional depth.

AM I THE RIGHT FIT?


Let me be crystal clear about that: my approach is not for everyone.
If you’re looking for constant direction, perfectly constructed images, or a highly controlled experience, I might not be the right choice.
I work best with people who want to live their day fully, without interruptions, without needing to perform. To keep the experience focused and personal, I take on a limited number of weddings each year.
I choose to work with couples who feel aligned with this way of seeing, because that connection is what allows the work to become something meaningful.

Personalise it to create a wedding experience that’s truly yours

I’ll join you at the welcome dinner or any extra event you wish to quietly document the warmth, the toasts, and the moments that set the tone for everything to come.

If you’re drawn to the feel of real film, this one’s for you. I’ll shoot some rolls of 35mm on my Leica M6: color, black & white, or a mix, depending on what suits you best.
Each roll includes 36 exposures, with around 25–30 images selected and delivered as part of your final collection.
You’ll receive high-resolution scans that keep all the texture and soul of analog. If you’re unsure about how many film pictures you want, don’t worry: I will guide you in making the best choice.

Amazing images from a different point of view that will enhance the whole story.

Should you wish to have an additional photographer, there is no issue whatsoever. I will arrange for a trusted professional to join and assist me in my work.

If you want more coverage, this is my rate for every extra hour.

If you love prints, I can provide you with some stunning fine art wedding albums.

While the standard turnaround is approximately 4 months, this upgrade ensures your photos are delivered within just 1 month.

I waive my right to publish any images of your Wedding.

Frequently asked Questions

Once you have made your choice, send me an email to confirm your date and the package you prefer. If you need, I’ll guide you through the process and help you choose the best option. To secure your date, a 30% deposit is required, along with a signed contract.

Since each event is unique, you may ask for a custom quote. Send me an inquiry, and I’ll be happy to explore it further with you.

My approach to your wedding day is rooted in empathy and spontaneity, creating a relaxed, authentic experience that reflects your unique personalities and desires as a couple. I focus on capturing the natural flow of the day, documenting meaningful moments as they unfold without interfering with the rhythm of your celebration.

When a little guidance is needed – like during your couple portraits – I’ll gently step in to provide direction or recommendations, ensuring you feel comfortable and at ease. My goal is to preserve your memories as they truly happened, enhanced by a thoughtful attention to lighting, composition, and emotion.


Film photography is an integral part of how I see.
While I work primarily in digital for consistency and reliability, I choose to photograph certain moments on 35mm film, where imperfection, texture, and unpredictability create something different.
Each roll includes 36 exposures, with around 25-30 images selected and delivered as part of your final collection.

Absolutely! I love traveling and am always ready for new adventures. To give you an idea, the farthest wedding I’ve photographed was in New Zealand, so nowhere feels too far! (Unless, of course, you’re planning to tie the knot in Antarctica!).
Please note that travel costs are not included in the packages.

A sneak peek of 50 images will be delivered within one week of your wedding date. Your full gallery will be ready within 3 to 4 months.
