i photograph because i care about people.

As far as I remember, I’ve always been a curious person, and I believe it is one of the reasons that pushed me to study Psychology. Once I got my Master’s degree from the University of Florence, I felt the need to keep caring for people, switching the medium from Freud and Jung’s books to a camera.

Street Photography has been the most natural way at first: it’s been so interesting to wander the streets of Florence looking for those rare, candid, and surreal moments.
Observing how people behaved in social and public spaces and the subtle dynamics beneath the surface was something I experienced as a gift.

When I photographed my first wedding, back in 2014, I told myself: “This is like being at a funfair.”
People were happy to be photographed, and I was welcomed as a familiar presence rather than an intruder.

From that day on, my wedding photography has always followed that path – and it is particularly fitting for couples who are looking for unexpected, candid, and a bit surreal moments to be remembered.

My work has been exhibited at leading international photography festivals, including Miami, San Francisco, London, Milan, Arles, and Brussels.

I believe that good pictures need sacrifice to live. I look for those moments out of the span of attention, trying to put together the things happening within my viewfinder.

I work with a limited number of couples each year, by choice. Not as a positioning strategy, as the only way I know how to do this properly.

Each wedding requires full presence, full preparation, and complete creative investment. I can only offer that a certain number of times per year. I’m not the right photographer for everyone, and I’m genuinely at peace with that.

I work best when there is a clear alignment in vision, in values, in the kind of day you’re creating. When that connection is present, the work reaches a different level. That’s what I’m always looking for..
